This is an old recording from 2006 that I made in our backyard in London after a heavy storm. My favorite bit is the passing train that ran right near the house. I loved hearing the train go by at night.

I really like the concept around this once because I was able to visualize the track and the wave of sounds pushing against each other through the three different parts. I made this using processed field recordings and instruments.

You may be asking where the label went? Well sadly I ran out of personal time (but I have two beautiful daughters) and simply couldn’t give the artists and releases the time they deserved. I also want to spend the time I do have on my own work so I’ve changed the site a bit and will be using The Land Of to present my own sounds and music. I had a hard time choosing a format for my work and quit the sound blog a while back but I’m back up and running and will feature both new and older recordings on this site.
